Origin

Maya Mountain is one of those origins you taste once and never forget. The cacao for this bar comes from a standout fermentory in southern Belize that works closely with hundreds of Q’eqchi’ and Mopan Maya smallholder farmers, all growing cacao on tiny plots tucked into the jungle.

In the roastery, we roast this cacao gently to keep its creamy texture and layered fruit notes front and center. The result is a bar that’s bright yet comforting, with a slow, lingering finish that feels a bit like tropical fruit folded into warm cream. and like all our chocolate, it’s roasted and crafted with care in our Bend, Oregon roastery, letting the community and terroir behind each bean really shine.
