In the shadow of Tanzania's Udzungwa Mountains, where elephants still roam and primates swing through ancient forests, Kokoa Kamili produces some of Africa's most distinctive cocoa. Their organically certified beans capture the essence of this remarkable landscape, expressing bright cherry and lemon notes balanced with deep coffee undertones.

Working with over 5,000 smallholder farmers across the Kilombero Valley, Kokoa Kamili transforms freshly harvested beans through a meticulous 6-day fermentation in locally crafted eucalyptus boxes. The beans are then sun-dried on raised tables, allowing the region's pristine air to enhance their complex flavor profile.

But this isn't just exceptional cocoa – it's a catalyst for change. By managing fermentation centrally and paying premium prices for wet beans, Kokoa Kamili has transformed the region from one of Tanzania's lowest-paid cocoa communities to its highest. Their commitment extends beyond commerce to conservation, having planted over half a million trees to support both farmers and the unique ecosystem they call home.
