What Pi Day Has in common with chocolate making
Every year on March 14th, people celebrate Pi Day. While most people mark the day by baking pie, we’re thinking about another kind of craft rooted in science: chocolate making....
Cool weather shipping policy
We ship wholesale orders using USPS or UPS. Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If you have any questions or concerns about the shipping timeline of your chocolate, please reach out to orders@seahorsechocolate.com.
Hot weather shipping policy
Chocolate + warm temperatures = a sweet, gooey mess! In the warmer seasons, approximately June-August (exact dates determined based on regional conditions), we do not ship on Fridays to avoid your chocolate sitting an extra day on a toasty loading dock somewhere. So, orders placed Thursday-Sunday will ship by the following Wednesday. Orders will still be shipped using USPS or UPS.
Additionally, we require a hot weather shipping surcharge for an insulated box and cooling pack, which will be automatically added to your invoice. We will note on the order page when the hot weather shipping surcharge is in effect. Please reach out to orders@seahorsechocolate.com with any questions or concerns about getting your chocolate to you safely and quickly!
Refund policy
We do not accept refunds for purchased chocolate. After receiving your item, please reach out to us to request a replacement or credit if it does not meet your expectations within 48 hours of receipt of the product. We are not responsible for melting/blooming once the chocolate has left our facility (in transit or while on your shelves). To be eligible for a replacement or credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a replacement or credit process, you can contact us at orders@seahorsechocolate.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting a replacement or credit will not be accepted.
Damaged packages
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We want to help you get your chocolate as quickly as possible! Email us: orders@seahorsechocolate.com
Non-returnable items
Certain types of items may not be returned, like perishable goods (i.e., chocolate, chocolate sauce, or chocolate powder, or cocoa mix) and custom products (i.e. special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
