Description
Our take on milk chocolate, made without the milk. Organic, non-GMO coconut milk gives this 65% single-origin bean-to-bar bar its lush, creamy texture and the kind of nostalgic flavor that tastes exactly like chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons. A vegan craft chocolate that doesn't ask you to compromise on anything.
A perennial favorite for candy bar lovers and hard-core chocolate connoisseurs alike, which is maybe the best thing you can say about a bar. Roasted and crafted from scratch in our Bend, Oregon roastery.
About Smithsonian Bird Friendly®: This bar is made using 100% Bird Friendly certified cocoa from Zorzal in the Dominican Republic. The Bird Friendly certification, developed by Smithsonian scientists, is rooted in decades of ecological research. It guarantees that certified farms are deforestation-free, certified organic, and maintain habitat for birds through either diverse shade trees or protected forest areas. When you buy Bird Friendly chocolate, you are supporting producers who are doing the hard work of conservation in the field and are also supporting the ongoing research and agricultural extension led by the Bird Friendly program.

Seahorse Chocolate joined 1% for the Planet to back up our values with action. Through this membership, we donate one percent of our annual sales to groups working to protect biodiversity and build climate resilience in cocoa landscapes. This commitment gives us the chance to support the people and organizations doing critical on-the-ground work where cocoa is grown.
Cacao is especially well-suited to play a key role in climate and biodiversity solutions. When grown in diverse agroforestry systems, it can support healthy ecosystems, store carbon, retain water, and help protect soil, all while offering a profitable crop for smallholder farmers. These working landscapes are essential to meeting global conservation goals. Through 1% for the Planet, we’re investing in the future of cocoa and the landscapes that make great chocolate possible. We’ll be sharing more soon about the projects we support through our newsletter, so join us here for updates.
Please note that warm weather shipping is in effect. Starting June 1st, a $7 surcharge will be added to each order for insulated packaging. 🌞
